MARINA AND THE DIAMONDS

Just a few days ago, i was fortunate enough to be Marina's makeup artist for her performance here at the W Hotel Singapore.

Her hair was styled by the ever fabulous Andrea Razali. 

My inspiration for her makeup was a "goth Dita Von Teese".

Remittance

During the month of August, i was very honoured to have the opportunity to work with directors Joel Fendelman and Patrick Daly on their latest feature length film titled, "Remittance". 

Their past work include amazing films such as Needle Through Brick and David.

Granny's Day Out

Any time a makeup artist is told that the look to go for is "pin up", we always get excited!

Here i got to flex my pin up skills for Granny's Day Out which is a most lovely vintage boutique here in Singapore.

EXORCIZE ME

Working with Singapore and Belgium based artist, SooKoon Ang on her most recent art series titled "Exorcize Me" was definitely interesting and exciting for me. 

Exorcize Me is a photograohy and live performance project addressing coming-of-age anxiety, teenage alienation and the confusing phase between childhood and adulthood. The title, Exorcize Me, speaks about the unease within one's own skin and the yearning to get rid of new-fangled fears and unfamiliar emotions. It is also about the seeding of love within a teenager's heart, and, recognises the discomforting facts of a teenager's sexuality. 

Sookoon works with various mediums including video, drawing, installation, and printmaking. 

The finished prints were ultra chrome ink on archival paper and showcased at exhibitions such as The Art Incubator, Singapore Night Festival and the world-renowned Art Stage Singapore.
